About 3 weeks before the occasion, we curate 3 gift options based on what you've told us about that person.

With auto-order off, we wait for your pick. With it on, we go ahead with our recommendation if we don't hear from you by the deadline.

We time the order so it doesn't arrive too early for the occasion, and we charge your card when we place it.

We time most deliveries to land within a week of the occasion. Flowers and plants are the exception, arriving on the day itself.

This setting decides what happens if a deadline passes and you haven't picked a gift.

If you don't pick a gift by the deadline, we won't place an order, and you won't be charged for that occasion.

If you don't pick a gift by the deadline, we'll go ahead and order our recommendation, so the gift still arrives on time.
